Two companies, one team
SmartHausSwiss grew out of bringing MaxInstal and Swiss Solution together. The two carried complementary skills — technical fit-out on one side, site coordination on the other — and it quickly became clear that what clients actually needed was a single point of contact rather than two firms to keep talking to each other.
Twelve years on, the team works in Geneva, Lausanne and across French-speaking Switzerland, with more than 500 projects delivered.
What "turnkey" means here
Plenty of firms advertise turnkey work and subcontract most of it. With us, electrical, plumbing, climate systems, structural work, facades and finishing are carried out by our own teams. That changes three concrete things: the programme does not wait on a third party's availability, responsibility is not passed between firms when something goes wrong, and the quotation covers the whole project rather than one trade package.

What we commit to
We work to the Swiss standards that apply to each trade — NIV and SIA for electrical work, cantonal requirements for the building envelope — and we hand over the corresponding documentation at completion. We would rather quote a realistic timescale than a commercial one, and say so when the stated budget will not reach the expected result.
We work in French, English and Russian, which makes projects simpler for the international owners settled around Lake Geneva.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work outside Geneva and Lausanne?
Yes, across French-speaking Switzerland. For a more distant site the travel is priced into the quotation, with no surprises mid-project.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. Replacing a distribution board or fitting a bathroom are routine for us, just as much as a full renovation.
Do you work with managing agents and co-ownerships?
Regularly. We prepare the technical descriptions to submit to the agent or to the owners' meeting.
Who runs the site day to day?
A single project lead, who stays your contact from quotation to handover.
